Mentoring is making a comeback in the legal profession. This new booklet provides practical advice and guidelines on how mentors and mentees can build mentoring relationships that are productive and successful. It also explains the guidelines under which LAWPRO will waive surcharges on claims made against lawyers acting as mentors in a mentoring relationship.

The first issue of LAWPRO Magazine, LAWPRO's new risk and practice management publication, also focused on mentoring. It featured interviews with lawyers at various sized firms who participate in mentoring relationships. Their comments examine the many different ways in which lawyers mentor, the steps that can be taken to make mentoring relationships work better, and the benefits that flow to lawyers involved in mentoring relationships or firm mentoring programs.
