4. Managing stress by talking back to your negative MindTalkCoachingStress in our lives is triggered by events, changes, demands and pressures. Many people react to their stressful environment with, what we call, MindTalk. That is, they have a lot to say to themselves, much of it negative, and it worsens the effects of the environment. Here are some examples of negative MindTalk.
The way to combat negative MindTalk is to replace it with positive statements and actions - essentially by flooding your mind with good thoughts that will make you more positive and more stress hardy. Here are some examples of what you can do.
